Arcadia, Ryde

Completed in 2010, this project involves the careful refurbishment of the front elevation of the Grade II Listed Arcadia Buildings on Ryde Esplanade.

Overall, the main aim was to reintroduce the historic seafront elevation of the building based on historic drawings & photographs and to return the building to how it looked in the mid-19th century.

Recently, Rainey Petrie Architecture was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Isle of Wight Society for its involvement in this successful refurbishment.
